Dear Mr. Canard:
This is permission to place 200 cubic yards of dredged :and in one of the tLS,
Army Corps of Engineers maintained upland diked disposal islands. The island is located
along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway north of the Wrightsville Beach Public Works
Complex, Wrightsville Beach,North Carolina.
Permission is subject to the following conditions:
a. All work shall be conducted in strict accordance with applicable Department of
the Army(DA),North Carolina Division of Coastal Management (NCDEM) and North
Carolina Division of Water Quality (NCDWQ) authorizations.
b. All equipment and materials, other than dredged materials, must be removed
from the property within 14 days after, completion of the dredging operations.
c. A post-work meeting with the Corps of Engineers shall be scheduled. Point of
contact is Howard Varnam, at(9I0)251-4411. Documentation will be required of the
quantity of material placed in the site.
