Location, size, and positioning, subject to the direction of the CAMA Wilmington office. Structure The dock will be built according to all Codes of CAMA and the Town of Oak Island. It will be built upon 6x6 pylons jetted into Big Davis canal to the required depth in order to fully support the structure. It is proposed to be a 12 by 12 which uses 6 pylons, or a 10x10 using 4 pylons. Deck band will be 2x10 and so will floor joist space per building guidelines. Flooring shall be wood deck board. All material shall be pressure treated for this project. Work build preformed for Pylons and flooring by Chris Lovell, Tidal Marine Construction. Permitting: Application to CAMA with all necessary forms for approval, then through the City of Oak Island for a building permit.
