Please find below our proposal for the work. Should you have additional questions, please feel free to reach me at the number above. Proposal for installation. RRMC will propose to furnish labor, materials and equipment to repair 40 feet of existing pier and install an additional 24 feet of pier and deck area at 5309 Trent Woods Drive. The scope of work will include: Pier Repair: The proposal shall incorporate the replacement of existing stringers on the existing pilings. Pilings shall be connected by 2" x 8" pressure treated stringers. Beams shall provide structural integrity. Beams shall be anchored to existing pilings using 10" '/:" galvanized lag bolts with galvanized washers. See attached drawing for pier dimensions. Quoted decking is marine grade 2 x 6 treated/routed premium grade lumber. A composite decking material, such as Trex or WearDeck is available as well. Pier Extension: The proposal shall also include the installation of 15- 8" diameter pilings for the extension of the deck area to include the addition of a 10' x 26' addition on the river side of the existing boat house. Quoted decking is marine grade 2 x 6 treated/routed premium grade lumber. A composite decking material, such as Trex or WearDeck is available as well. Duration: It is expected that the job will take approximately 8 to 10 business days to complete, weather dependent. Anticipated start date will be dependent upon the issuance of the General CAMA permit and the submittal of adjacent landowner approval. Preliminary work may begin as soon as Sept 20th on the pier repair but installation of new pilings cannot begin until permit has been issued.
