Dear Greg:
In February of this year (2/28/02) I issued you a Certificate of Exemption to add/replace 6 pilings at your existing
marina facility. The description of the project reads as follows: "Install a missing piling on the floating dock,
replace/sister-on 4 pilings across face of fuel dock, add piling behind boat lift for pier protection". This work is still
exempt from the Coastal Management Permit process. You may proceed with the piling work as long as the
proposed work matches the project description just referenced.
Thank you for calling to check on this. It is always a good idea to have something in writing for your files.
