violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit,the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s)

Based on the elevation I saw it does not appear to be functioning as a coastal wetland area. Because it was only Spartina
patens and sea oxeye and if the USACE is not claiming 404 wetlands, I believe we can do a General Permit. Please
include the communications with the USACE and include verification in the permit application.

It was good meeting you onsite at 118 SW Yacht Drive in Oak Island on November 24, 2020
I looked at the area and material between the (2) existing bulkheads,this area does not meet the (3) required criteria to
make it a Jurisdictional 404 Wetland.
The required hydrology was not present in the soil at the time of our site visit.There was a wrack line present, but this
material was deposited from Hurricane Isaias.
How long will the actual bulkheads be?
