This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit,the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s)

I have looked at the bulkhead at Scotch Bonnet and inspected water main for leaks and found no issues
and have spoke to Greg about repairs needed and don't have any issues with scope of work hope you have

Greg Holden advised I contact Chris Clemmons to alert him to the streaming water occurring
at the end of Scotch Bonnet Drive.
We recently purchased the vacant lot at 169 Scotch Bonnet and had the bulkhead inspected
by Greg Holden. He did the inspection during low tide and discovered water streaming out of
the ground between the town bulkhead and the private bulkhead on 167 Scotch Bonnet.
Greg suspects this is not tidal water runoff.
We need to determine the source and mitigation plan of this water for several reasons:
1.The gap between the bulkheads has caused land erosion to occur behind the bulkhead
on 169 Scotch Bonnet
2.The cedar tree near the erosion area needs to be removed and the hole filled in with
dirt
3.The town and private bulkheads need to be patched together to preserve the integrity
of the bulkheads
4.The above items cannot occur until it is determined where the water is coming from
and how to best mitigate the running water. Our current concern is if we proceed
