Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit,the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s)
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available

The Moorings HOA
Board of Directors Meeting
April 24, 2003
President Wynelle 111lr? trio rallpd the meeting to order at 6:15 PM. Directors present were
Michael Satrazernis, Jute Blenkowaki, Sam Toler and Wynell Weston.
The first kern discussed was a letter from Mac Arnoid and Karen Wiggins requesting the
monies from the assessment for painting to be returned, This was discussed earlier in a
previous meeting from a request from the Odell's. Since tine monies are unassigned monies.
they are to be kept to be used for the painting and the coming project. This would also
preclude any more of an assessment for the upcoming project.
A polling of the fetters sent out to amortize the upcoming project showed a majority of the
members favor taking out a loan to pay for the project. A motion was made by Sam Toler and
seconded by Mike Satrazemis to finance the project at the lowest possible rate for a period of
three to tivc years. The motion was carried urierrirnously. Mrke Head is directed to take action
to secure such a loan.
The Board also requested Mike Head to send out a letter to all members instructing them not
to interfere, direct questions,or talk to the construction workers. All inquiries will go to Mike
Head or to the Board, as this would slow down the project. •
Mike Head is also directed to writo a letter to make sure member e I i ive made arrangements
with Wilmington Awning or someone to take down the awnings and hurricane shutters before .
construction on their unit starts. Construction will begin May 6, 2000 on the east building
starting with Carlton Taylor and moving west. •
Scott Moore has requested to have a boatfil+t installed. The Board approves the boatlift with
the caveat that Scott Moore seed us a written letter requesting such a lift and with the letter
stating that he will be responsibto for taking the lift out if he ealls his unit or that the new owner
gives written form that he will be responsible for the lift to be moved. The Board also requests

lift specification be sent with the letter,
Our landscaper suggests that the pine trees on the west side of the property be moved now. If
we wait the trees could get to such size'tnat it would be extremely costly to move them. The
Board approved moving the trees now.
A motion was made by Mike Satrezemis to close the meeting and was seconded by Jutta
Bienkowski. .
