This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become

This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The

confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s)

Subject: Disposal of Excavated Material
Dear Sir,
I have discussed the disposal of the excavated material that will be excavated from a 30 ft.
x 120 ft. section(see attached map)of the Hobert Justice Canal adjacent to Chadwick Bay and
have agreed to the following:
The excavated material can be disposed of on my property at 77t8Chadwick Lane under the
following conditions:
a) The contractor must comply with all safety and excavation procedures required by
CAMA. ,
b) The topsoil must push from the designated disposal area(90 ft. x 120 ft.) at a
depth of2-3 'V2ft.
c) Upon completion of the canal material on the disposal site the topsoil must be
returned to cover the disposed material.
d) The property must be graded and left in an acceptable condition by the owner.

time) met a Kayla's Restaurant and agreed to pursue a permit to have the canal dredged and to raise the
funds for this project.
After contacting a dredging company we were told it would cost about$10,000.00 to increase the,
depth about two and one-half feet along the entrance of the canal.
At our second meeting we decided each property owner would pay an initial $300.00 for the start •

up dredging project and $100.00 per year into a General Maintenance Fund. The monies are voluntary
and should not cause hardship on anyone.

With the buying and selling of these properties the collecting of the $15.00 was stopped. The fund did
accumulate about $4,000.00. At this point we have raised about$6,000.00 additional dollars. We know
there will be future canal maintenance needs._ Also we realize keeping a navigable depth of water will
maintain and possibly increase our future property values.
