Issuing to Expir tion Datell/ • Brendan, I am writing you to request an exemption for a portion of the dock work I plan to do at 404 Marlin St in Sunset Beach. Specifically I am seeking an exemption for the following: 1) Remove splintered/warped wood surface of floating dock and replace with a composite material like Trex 2) Move one plastic float back to its original location near the back left corner of the floating dock. The float has moved towards the middle of the dock and destabilized that back corner. 3) Sister a new 6x6' pressure treated wood post to the bulkhead support post that is cracked 4) Replace the splintered/warped 2x10" boards on top of the bulkhead wall with new pressure treated 2x10" boards See supporting images below. 1) Remove splintered/warped wood surface of floating dock and replace with a composite material like Trex (area in yellow below will be replaced with a light gray Trex) 2) Move one plastic float back to its original location near the back left corner of the floating dock.
