The piling replacement under my dock was completed last year under the exemption attached
but I was unable to find a contractor to do the bulkhead and concrete work until recently.
This is a request for an exemption to do the rest of the work. It is less work than was exempted
in 2019.

low tide,which is predicted for around 1:30 pm. My office is only half mile from the house so I can meet

Based on a quick review of your drawings, it appears as though your project will qualify
as an exemption, rather than necessitate a general permit for construction. I should be
able to just issue you a formal exemption for these projects. Do you have any time
available to meet this Friday? I can also complete the site visit without your presence if
you don't feel the need to be there.

Time and storms make some work on my canal shoreline necessary. Drawings with the
existing conditions and proposed work are attached. It may be repair or require a general
permit for part or all of the proposed work.
Four projects are proposed:
1. Replace 4 pilings under the existing fixed dock.
2. Replace two 18' return walls on each side of the existing boat ramp. One side is already failing.
3. Replace 5' of bulkhead along the canal, adjacent to the east return wall.
4. Demolish and replace 2' of 13' wide concrete ramp that has been undermined adjacent to the
east return wall.
The adjacent owners are aware of the proposed work and have offered to sign waivers if
