Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit,the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief,certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

To whom it may concern,
We, Rodney Chamblee, Don Chamblee and Mac and Cristy Sealey, are adjacent
property owners to London Carter's property at 2836 Sea Vista Drive, Supply, NC.
(Deed Book 143) London Carter has an existing pier structure that extends onto
the Intercoastal Waterway at this property location. London Carter's existing pier
structure extends past the riparian setback line and into the riparian corridor and
within several feet of our property line (see attachment "A" diagram). We, as
adjacent property owners, are aware of the location of London Carter's existing
pier structure in relation to the riparian setback line and within the riparian corridor.
In accordance with permit regulations with the NC Department of Environment
and Natural Resources Dept., Mr. London Carter will be removing square footage
from his decking area and his entire floating dock with the poles in this area. He
has submitted a diagram showing what will be left inside the riparian area after this
is done (see attachment`B" diagram). As shown in diagram `B" we have no
problem with this design and will allow him to retain what is remaining inside the
riparian area. We do not desire or grant approval of any new or proposed pier
structures, or improvements to be erected within the riparian set back line and
riparian corridor adjacent to our property line.
In the future, if any portion of this pier in the riparian area is damaged to the point
it has to be rebuilt, all new construction will be outside and to the west of the
riparian set back line.
