The project involves the installation of new underground electric distribution cable along our existing easement beginning just south of Cypress Knee Trail and extending west to Martin's Point Road in Dare County, Virginia. The project is needed to alleviate the current load on existing electrical infrastructure and improve reliability to customers in this area. This project will include boring beneath Jean Guite Creek where it crosses Rt. 158. Bore pits will be located on either side of the water crossing, and the single -circuit cable will be installed approximately 5 feet below the bottom of the channel. You are being notified in accordance with the CAMA General Permit as outlined in section 15A NCAC 07h.1600 of the North Carolina Administrative Code. Attached please find project drawings, including a plan view of the project location relative to your property and a cross-section detail of the waterway crossing. An Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Notification form is also included. Please review these materials and complete and return the notification per the form instructions.
