RE: Boat Ramp at Beach Road South
Proposal for maintenance and repairs project.

We are proposing maintenance and repair activities on the only boat ramp at Figure Eight Island.
The ramp has become dangerous and unsafe for use due to erosion and the collapse of the bottom
section of the ramp.
Our proposal is to remove the jagged concrete from the water for relocation at an approved site off
the island, and install precast concrete panels. I am attaching a diagram of the scope of this proposal,
per our telephone conversation earlier today.I intend to photograph the pre-project conditions as well
as the completed work.
I would like to begin this repair and maintenance project as soon as possible. As the project will
cause the closure of the only ramp at the island for approximately 4 days, we would like to do the
work during the off-season. Our contractor will be able to begin work on this project shortly after
your approval.

We will supply labor, equipment, and materials to repair with precast panels 2' x
20' x .5 with epoxy coated rebar, concrete at 5,000 PSI laid on a bed of#57 stone. We
will link the panels with stainless chain links. All gaps in panels will be filled with stone.
