While the central portions of the basin are retaining depths to -7' at low water, the sides and inner extent of the basin are in need of maintenance. The attached plat details the area to be dredged to -6' low water and the current water depths as provided by the contractor. The volume of the material to be excavated will not exceed 1000 cubic yards. The excavation will be accomplished by a barge and bucket method and will utilize the previously approved upland deposit sites. The riparian landowners have been notified and have signed the enclosed forms indicating no objections to the project. I have also enclosed the $100 fee check.
