Jack Jones and "A Wonderful Life" Marine Construction agree to construct a
bulkhead on I B 7 ci Kennedy Drive. We will construct this bulkhead in a location
that will be dictated and marked by a CAMA representative. The materials and design of
this bulkhead will be consistent with that discussed by Jack and Mr. & Mrs. Neal, which
is as fallows.
In a location determined by CAMA, we will install/perform the following:
➢ 6-inch x 6-inch x 12-feet Face. ilings
➢ Hang 4 x 6 Whalers on Face Pilings using '/z inch galvanized carriage bolts
➢ "Shore Guard 325" Sheeting will be used for this bulkhead manufactured by
C.M.I. This sheeting will be 8-feet in length for the majority of the bulkhead
however, in the area in which the bulkhead is closest to the house, we will use 12-
foot sheets.
• Place the Face Pilings in this section on 5-foot centers as apposed to 7-feet 6-inch
centers for the rest of the bulkhead. (This is a precaution we will take due to the
close proximity of the house to the bulkhead).
➢ Use 8-inch round 8-feet long galvanized Dock Anchors for Dead Men in this
section and tie them to the bulkhead with stainless steel cables.
➢ In other areas in which the proximity of the house is not a constraint, we will use
pilings for Dead Men and attach these to the bulkhead with galvanized All
Thread.
➢ This bulkhead will have a 2-inch x 12-inch wooden cap and backfilled to the
bottom of said cap.
