applying for this permit has described to me as shown on the attached drawing the development the

I have no objections to this proposal.
If you have objections to what is being proposed, please write the Division of Coast
Management, 127 Cardinal Drive Extension, Wilmington, NC 23405 or call 910- 7,
within 10 days of receipt of this notice. No response is considered the same as no objection i

WAIVER SECTION
I understand that a pier, dock, mooring pilings, breakwater,boat house or boat lift must be se
bck a minimum distance of 15' from my area of riparian access- unless waived by me. (If yot

Subject: Description of Proposed Pier, Dock, and Boat Lift for lot at 514-C North
Anderson in Topsail Beach, NC.
1. Pier will be 6 feet wide and will be approximately centered on the lot. It will proceed
from the proposed retaining wall to the proposed dock which will be located in
accordance with NCDENR and CAMA regulations to allow the launching and recovery
of a 20 foot runabout style boat at normal low tide.
In order to be"Handicapped Friendly"the pier will be designed with no stairs. It will be
constructed with approximately a 1 in 18 grade from the top of the retaining wall until it
reaches dock level. From that point on it will run level until it reaches the dock.
To the extent possible, the pier will wind around and through the existing trees to allow a
minimum loss of foliage. (Please see scale sketch.)
2. The dock is expected to be of stationary design and will be approximately 272 square
feet in size. It is expected to be approximately centered on the lot.
3. The boat lift will be located adjacent to the dock, (on the left hand side as viewed from
shore) and is expected to be placed to allow the boat to be stored perpendicular to the
channel.
