Pier will be 6 feet wide and will be approximately centered on the lot. It will proceed from the proposed retaining wall to the proposed dock which will be located in accordance with NCDENR and CAMA regulations to allow the launching and recovery of a 20 foot runabout style boat at normal low tide. In order to be"Handicapped Friendly"the pier will be designed with no stairs. It will be constructed with approximately a 1 in 18 grade from the top of the retaining wall until it reaches dock level. From that point on it will run level until it reaches the dock. To the extent possible, the pier will wind around and through the existing trees to allow a minimum loss of foliage. (Please see scale sketch.) 2. The dock is expected to be of stationary design and will be approximately 272 square feet in size. It is expected to be approximately centered on the lot. 3. The boat lift will be located adjacent to the dock, (on the left hand side as viewed from shore) and is expected to be placed to allow the boat to be stored perpendicular to the channel. 4.
