Sir,
I am writing to inform you of a violation of the CAMA rules and failure to obtain a permit. I do not wish
for my name to be used, but I do feel strongly about how this was done and the lack of respect for your
Division. I am not sure if this is the proper way to do it.
The owner and contractor failed to obtain a permit with construction exceeding over 50%. Also, did not
follow the current rules/regulations for rebuilding pier, walkway and dock to code and failed to obtain
permission from adjacent riparian property owners exceeding the line by 10+ feet. I am sure other
violations were done i.e. town permits etc. Both the contractor and property owner were unwilling
to follow the law and replaced the entire pier, walkway and dock, all but the pole pilings.
