Bulk Head Duncan Marine Contractors,Inc.is pleased to propose the following for construction. 8,650.00
MCI will supply all of the labor,materials,and equipment to install a 4'x 56'
bulkhead,replace approximately 10'of handrail on the north side of the gazebo,and secure the
ladder on the south side of the dock. We will also re-attach the walkway to the bulkhead
from the grass area_ This proposal includes the permit process and the backfill_
All pilings will be 6"x 6"treated lumber and attached to a dead-man with a 5/8"
galvanized tie-bakc rod.All wailers will be 4"x 6"treated lumber and through-bolted to
each piling.All sheathing will be 2"x 8"treated tongue and groove treated lumber_
The cap-board will be 2"x 8"treated lumber.
Should you decide not to replace the bulkhead,the cost to repair the dock as proposed
and repair the bulkhead would equal$3,224. It would also include backfill.
To accept this proposal,please sign below and return to DMCI. Once we have received a signed
proposal,we will provide you with an estimated start date. We would not require a deposit for
the repairs,but we would require a 20%deposit for the new bulkhead. Another 30%would be
due once the pilings hove been set and the balance will be due upon completion.
