project consists of excavation of material between old and new bulkhead, and
maintenance excavation of slips to maintain a minimum depth of 3 Feet.

Project: Lee's Cut Marina Excavation of Material
We are requesting a General Permit to excavate our marina. Enclosed is a Marina Site
Plan showing what we plan to do. On the North side of the marina we wish to remove fill
between the old and new bulkhead and do maintenance on the existing slips. There is
some additional maintenance needed at the entrance of the marina and the slip in the
southeast corner. The material will be excavated and temporally stored over 30 feet from
mean high water to allow material to D-Water before backfilling behind new bulkhead.
The material will be stabilized with a filter cloth. The marina site plan will show
highlighted areas of the work to be done.
We have enclosed the signed"Adjacent Riparian Property Owners Notification/Waiver
Form" from Channel Walk HOA and The Town of Wrightsville Beach. A check for the
application fee of$100.00 is also enclosed.
