While I applaud the efforts of Drs. Joe and Cathy Kosterman to "beautify this area with an upscale property on the site", I do have some concerns. Please consider the following: 1. Bulkhead revisions need to be more detailed. There are no specific measurements, widths, lengths, etc. it seems appropriate to me that a more detailed plan be required before I can make a final decision. 2. As stated in the letter we received from Dorothy H. Dale, Realty World Coastal Properties, I am being asked to approve "bulkhead and dock revisions" at 1303 Canal Drive. Therefore, I am of the opinion that in keeping with the intent of Coastal management regulations, the correct interpretation would require that all properties comply with CAMA requirements. As I stated in our phone conversation, this would include the removal of three pilings and a floating dock on the south side of the property. Furthermore, I am not aware of any approval given to have the pilings on the property. Also the floating dock is relatively new (within the last three years) and I am not aware of any required waiver to install said floating dock. We hereby certify that we own property adjacent to the 1303 Canal Drive property referenced here and on the attached forms. We DO HAVE OBJECTIONS to this proposal for the following reasons: 1. We did not receive the documentation and accompanying form until late in the day of August 17, 2005 because the submitter did not send it directly to the Bayview Manor's Home Owners' Association President. 2. The Bayview Manor Home Owner's Association objects because, in consulting with an engineer who is also a Director of the Homeowner's Association, we determined that: a. The documentation submitted does not include a legend or otherwise sufficient information to determine what we are being asked to support. b.
