Location A is a 13' X 60' concrete boat ramp. On both sides of this ramp are concrete filled fiber form revetments B and C. The visible portion of the revetment B on the south side of the ramp extends out on a gentLe'slope to a width of 10 feet. The visible portion of the under mined and deteriorated revetment C on the north side -tends out and down on a steep slope to a point in the sand 6 feet from the ramp. The deteriorated condition of revetment C is allowing the concrete boat ramp to be undermined. Probing in the sand to locate the buried toe of this revetment reveals that it also probably extends out an additional 4 feet,location D,under the sand from the north side of the ramp. Location E is an area of concrete,asphalt,sand and rip rap that ha;eroded during recent storms due to a 9 foot gap between the concrete ramp and the existing bulkhead which is at location F. The proposed remedy is to remove the deteriorated revetment C,constrict a 60' long bulkhead G immediately adjacent to the north side of the concrete ramp and a 9' long bulkhead H to tie the new 60' bulkhead in to the corner of existing bulkhead F. The 60' bulkhead is to slope on the same incline as,but one foot higher than,the concrete ramp. Two pilings near the water end of the bulkhead are to be left at the same height as the land end of the bulkhead to mark the location of portions of the bulkhead that will be submerged at times. One of these piling is to be located at the extreme low end of the bulkhead. The other is to be located approximately 20 feet from the low end. Fill in eroded area E.
