James Drive, adjacent to Lockwoods Folly River,Southport,Brunswick County,NC. Latitude:

Description of activity: The applicant proposes to install a boat elevator lift attached to the existing 6'
x 36' platform and relocate an existing 6'x 20' floating dock to the western end of the T-head
platform. A barge will be brought to the site only to lift the cradle beams into place as described in
the application received by this office on March 21,2007.

Your work is authorized by the above referenced permit provided it is accomplished in strict
accordance with the attached conditions and your submitted plans. If your activity is subject to Section
404 of the Clean Water Act(as indicated above),before beginning work you must receive a Section 401
Water Quality Certification from the N.C.Division of Water Quality(telephone(919)733-1786). For
activities occurring within the twenty coastal counties subject to regulation under the Coastal Area
Management Act(CAMA),prior to beginning work you must contact the N.C.Division of Coastal
Management in Wilmington,NC, at(910)796-7215.
Please read and comply with the attached conditions. Any violation of these conditions may subject -
the permittee to a stop work order, a restoration order and/or appropriate legal action.
This Department of the Army verification does not relieve the permittee of the responsibility to obtain
any other required Federal, State or local approvals/permits.
