Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

We would like for a cama permit be issued for the clean up dredging at shinn
point. This is a clean up from the storm We had few months ago. The
bulkhead that was under construction on three lots was not completed at the
time of the storm . The bulkhead failed and we are going to clean up, the
area's that got disturbed.
Included is all the information you requested. Please leave this permit at the
front desk, for Duncan Marine Contractors, Inc. to pay for and pick up.

Dear Mr. Charron::
Permission is granted for the above referenced project. As you know we usually charge
$1.50 per cubic yard with a minimum charge of $500. However, we note that from time
to time companies that have done business with Shore Acres for a number of years
(such as Duncan Marine) have routine or maintenance projects that really aren't worth a
$500 fee. To that end we have instituted a $2.00 per cubic yard charge for projects
under 200 cubic yards. This saves you money and seems more equitable to us. We
note that your small project should benefit from this change. I look forward to receiving
the CAMA permit when you obtain it. Please let me if I can be of further assistance.
