This approval is contingent on your compliance with constructing the lift according to the plans that you submitted as well as with the conditions that are listed on the attached Inlet Point Harbor Common Area Boat Lift Guidelines. Should you have any questions on any of the conditions listed on the attached document please do not hesitate to contact any of your Board members. As you requested in your April 12, 2005 letter, I have asked Ann Bowman to send you a copy of the most recent version of our Covenants. She is on vacation this week and out of town so I will follow up with her when she returns to make sure that they are sent. We thank you for your cooperation in following the HOA architectural review process and I personally apologize for the amount of time and for the difficulty that you have experienced in getting a resolution to this request. I do not know how or where the bottleneck occurred, but the Board will strive to be timelier in the future. Sincerel Frnoct V Manzella_ 7r Inlet Point Harbor Common Area Boat Lift Guidelines These guidelines are written to allow owners with rights to boat slips in common docking easement number one and number two the option of installing boat lifts. They are intended to establish some degree of uniformity in boat lift design, to minimize any interference with the view of the turning basin and channel and to minimize any adverse affect on the visual appeal of the neighborhood. Owners wishing to install lifts in the common docking areas must submit a written request including detailed drawings to the Board of Directors. The highest point on the permanent lift structure may not extend above the top of the existing pilings which secure the adjacent floating docks. When the lift is raised, the bottom of the boat should normally be not more than two feet above mean high tide. In the event of an approaching storm, the lift may be raised to its uppermost position. The lift must in no way interfere with the vertical movement of the floating dock. The lift and boat must be within the designated slip boundaries. They must not encroach into the adjacent slip or extend into the channel or over the floating dock. The lift will remain the property of the owner. The owner must maintain the lift in proper working condition. Should the lift interfere with the maintenance of the common dock or bulkhead, the owner may be required to remove and reset or pay for the removal and resetting of the lift.
