Re: Bulkhead repair 45 Ballast Point Dr., Manteo, NC
Description of Work:
Repair and replace the existing bulkhead with 225 series interlocking vinyl sheet piling; 09/25/09
bulkhead specifications will apply (see diagram). Bulkhead repair/replacement will remain the same in
height and length as current bulkhead. Lightning Marine Construction will be the contractor to complete
this project. All NCDENR & CAMA requirements, permits and instructions will be adhered too and
followed per regulatory guidelines. Estimated schedule time to start repair bulkhead project is
09/23/20.

Please find attached signed ARP Notification forms from our neighbors, William Mills, 44
Ballast Point Dr,. Manteo and from Gerald & Janet White, 46 Ballast Point Dr., Manteo.
Also attached a copy of description and diagram provided to both parties with the ARP
form.
Duncan Aydlett, Lightning Marine Construction, is our authorized agent to apply for
CAMA Permits for this bulkhead work. A copy of the Agent Authorization Form has been
signed by me and provide to Duncan and a copy to you on 08/27/20.
Please proceed with Duncan on next steps for CAMA permits. Please confirm receipt by
e-mail to me that you have received this e-mail, the attachments and we are good to
move forward.
