idividuals listed below. The CAMA General Permit application procedures require that applicants provide the Division of
oastal Management confirmation that a written statement has been obtained signed by the adjacent riparian property owner

GENERAL NOTES
1. ALL TIMBER TO BE No. 2 GRADE SW OR BETTER.
2. STAGGER JOINTS OF FRONT AND REAR WALES.
3. ALL TIMBER TO MEET OR EXCEED AWPA STANDARDS (C-2 AND C-18) FOR PRESERVATIVE
TREATMENT AS APPLICABLE.
4. HELICAL ANCHOR TO HAVE A CAPACITY OF 12,500 LBS. BASED ON A 6' SPACING.
5. ALL STEEL FASTENERS AND TIE—RODS SHALL BE HOT DIP GALVANIZED PER ASTM A-153 WITH
20 OUNCES OF ZINC PER SQUARE FOOT.
6. EXPOSED REGIONS OF TIE—ROD (SECTION BETWEEN WALE AND SHEET PILE) TO BE FIELD
TRATED WITH COAL TAR EPDXY.
7. BACKFILL SHALL BE CLEAN, GRANULAR, MATERIAL (GW, GP, SW, OR SP PER ASTM D-2487)
AND COMPACTED AT LEAST 95% (PER ASTM D-698). 12" MAXIMUM LIFTS.
NOTES
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL LAYOUT AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO CONSTRUCT HIS WORK.
2. HELICAL PILE ANCHORS SHALL BE 1 Y4"0 THREADED ROD W/A WORKING LOAD CAPACITY OF 12,500 L
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE THE FILL BEHIND THE BULKHEAD AS REQUIRED TO INSTALL THE NE
HELICAL TIEBACK ANCHORS AND BULKHEAD.
4. ALL HARDWARE SHALL BE HOT DIP GALVANIZED.
5. SHEET PILE SHALL BE NORTHSTAR ENDURANCE POLARIS CE COMPOSITE SHEET.
6. ALL WOOD SHALL BE SOUTHERN PINE #2 TREATED W/CCA TO 2.5 PCF RETENTION. PILING SHALL BE
THE SIZES INDICATED ON THE PLAN AND SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM D25.
7. CONTRACTOR SHALL EXTEND WATER AND ELECTRICAL SERVICE AS REQUIRED.
8. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO ORDERING MATERIALS.
