Dear Ms.Wilson,
The purpose of this letter is to request for a permit to remove and replace an existing fixed& floating dock/pier
located at 90 Fairmont Street.Ocean Isle Beach, NC.We have sent each of our adjoining neighbors the proper
"Owner Notification/Waiver Forms"on Friday April 25, 2008 and are awaiting their signed return.
Enclosed is a drawing of the existing structure as well as the proposed structure.Additionally,we are requesting a
permit&permission to dredge the area shown on the proposed drawing. Prior to dredging we would like to install
new Vinyl Sheet piling against the existing bulkhead to ensure a stable soil condition after the dredging has been
done.
Additionally,The purpose for this dock configuration&request for permit is that the two boats that are desired to
be docked at this location are Vessel number NC-8140 DH (35' length)& US Coast Guard#: 569308(48' length)
Summary of work being requested;
I. Remove existing pier,dock&floating dock.
2. Dredge between 623& 700 Cubic Yards of dirt to be excavated mechanically&transported by barge to
