Dear Ms Snider: t
I would like to request a maintenance and repair exemption for the installation of a steel dolphin fender
structure to protect the #5 scour jet unit (which will require installation of 4 pilings), and replacement of
existing timber fender wall on the north breasting/ mooring dolphin with a new timber fender wall with
UHMW polyethylene panel facing. Further work will be performed and a modification to the CAMA permit
will be filed for in the next 30 days. This maintenance exemption is being requested to reduce risk of
property damage and environmental impacts resulting from property damage.
