Dear Mr. Mosley,
The property at 210 Bridgers Street, Topsail Beach NC, which is on the southern border
of the Charles Dubose property, is owned by myself, Jonathan Smith, and my sister,
Timothea Zimmermann. We inherited this property from out father's estate, the late Dr.
Charles E. Smith.
In consultation with my sister, we have an objection to the pending CAMA permit
request submitted by our neighbor, Mr. Charles Dubose, for modifications to his existing
pier. There is an existing agreement dating back to 1992 between our father,
Dr. C. E. Smith, and Mr. Dubose that states "Mr. Dubose will make no further structural
alterations or additions to the side of his pier adjacent to Dr. C. E. Smith's riparian
border". My sister and I request that this agreement continue to be honored by Mr.
Dubose and that CAMA review in detail all submitted construction plans from Mr.
Dubose to verify that his new proposed pier construction does not infringe on our riparian
borders in any way.
