(Inland Harbor) objects to the validity of the permit (N.C. CAMA Permit No 36-04) which underlies the subject application for a boat lift, as it encompasses a marina that was built in violation of Inland Harbor's riparian corridor and associated 15' buffer area. For that reason, Inland Harbor cannot ratify any amendment of CAMA Permit 36-04 or the current application which could be construed to ratify or recognized the existence of this permit. Furthermore, Inland Harbor does not wish to waive any of its riparian rights or allow any structures to encroach into its riparian corridor or associated 15' buffer area. Having said that, Inland Harbor does not seek to prevent any activity in waters adjacent to property north of the marina which is adjacent to the Inland Harbor property which is not within Inland Harbor's riparian corridor or associated 15' buffer area and does not seek to prevent what occurs in such riparian corridor for the same reason it wishes for others not to encroach in its own riparian corridor. Therefore, Inland Harbor does not object to a boat lift being installed which services the dock indicated on the attached Exhibit A.
