Dear Ms. Snider:
Pursuant to our telephone conversations, this correspondence is submitted to request an
exemption for processing of a CAMA permit for the above referenced facility. An approved
UST-6A application has been received from the Central NCDENR UST section for replacement
of underground piping at this facility. The piping replacement project at this facility will include
removal of existing underground piping and replacement with new double wall underground
product piping. A representative from the NCDENR UST Section of the WiRO will inspect the
work at this facility.
I have enclosed the approval letter from the central NCDENR UST Section. Also enclosed is a
site plan which indicates the 75' CAMA buffer zone and the proposed limit of trenching within
this buffer.

The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) — Underground
Storage Tank (UST) Section has reviewed the UST-6A "Application to Install or Replace Underground
Storage Tank Systems (Pre -Installation)", received 10/20/2009, and additional information submitted on
11/13/2009. Based on your submittal, your application to install or replace UST systems at the above
location is approved. This approval is limited to the UST piping system specified in the aforementioned
application (including the proposed APT XP-175-MD marina flex piping that will be installed underground
between the existing tank and dispenser) and is valid for one year. Note that all components of the UST
system must be tested in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and PEI/RP100 and the results
submitted with the UST-611 application within thirty (30) days after installation.
