Subject: Request for Minor Modification on Major Permit # 13 7- 10
Scotts Hill Marina
Dear Mr. Dail,
Scott's Hill Marina is requesting a minor modification on Major Permit #137-10. Due to
heavy wake action on the entrance channel dock, we are requesting the following:
1. (3) Proposed finger piers (4' x 30').
2. Remove (2) existing tie pilings.
3. Remove (2) existing finger piers (2.5' x 5.5')
The existing square footage of walkways, docks, and fingers is 11,497 square feet. The
maximum allowed based on Scotts Hill Marina's shoreline (1,312 If) is 35,424 square
feet. With this proposal, the proposed square footage will become 11,829.5 square feet,
well under the maximum allowed for a marina.
These changes will not change the total number of slips in Scotts Hill Marina Please find
the attached plan sheet illustrating these modifications.
