Davis Director June 8, 2012 Dee Freer Secre This letter is in response to your correspondence received by the Division of Coastal Management on May 24, 2012 regard concerns about the proposed development by your neighbor at 2223 Bankside Street, adjacent to the Lockwood Folly River, in ia, Brunswick County. The proposed project consisted of the installation of a 6 ft. by 20 ft. floating dock waterward of the existin ig dock. The proposed project does not encroach into the 15 ft. riparian setback and has been determined to comply with the , of the Coastal Resources Commission (71-1.1200) and as such, a permit has been issued to authorize the development. I hav sed a copy of the permit, as well as the relevant statutes. If you wish to contest our decision to issue this permit, you may file a request for a Third Party Appeal. The Chairman of the tal Resources Commission will consider each case and determine whether to grant your request to file for a Contested Case ng. The hearing request must be filed with the Director, Division of Coastal Management, in writing and must be received with) y (20) days of the disputed permit decision.
