Wilmington, NC 28405 Re: General Permit - Bridge Repairs Summers Rest Road Bridge Repairs Wilmington, NC Dear Mr. Mairs: C R I S E R TROUTMAN TANNER The City of Wilmington is proposing to perform routine maintenance of the Post and Beam Bridge located on Summers Rest Road in Wilmington NC. Due to the type of repairs as required by the North Carolina Department of Transportation Inspection Program, a CAMA General permit is required. As required by the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management, a notification of the extent and type of repairs was sent by certified mail to the riparian property owners as required as part of the General Permit Application Process. The required bridge repairs, as outlined in the attached documentation, will be limited to the bridge substructure and the concrete spillway, and consists of placing rip -rap below the mean high water line as outlined within the attached documents. The riparian property owners are as follows: Mr. Chris Bailey Bailey & Associates P.O.
