As per our conversation, please find enclosed 2 drawings (one to scale and one blow
up of platform) for the pier installation for 208A Boca Bay, Surf City. As you can see, the only
real change is the reduction of the platform from 16 x 16 to 12 x 14 as requested by the HOA at
Boca Bay. Enclosed you will also find a check for 200.00 to cover the re -issuing of the permit for
this pier. If you have any questions please don't hesitate contacting me.

That had a time frame and had ran out a few of months ago with no formal extension from the board. The proble
is that it was in force long enough to go past the expiration date of the permit. The original permit was filed prior
n changing some of their rules in July. Because we are having to get the permit renewed we are now under these
s hence the slight reduction in the platform size at the end of the pier. At this point even though I could probably
docking facility I just want to get complete what we originally tried to build and face that hill on another day. I can
gine that they will not try to delay anything anymore. They burned through 16,000.00 of the HOA's funds trying tc
and have essentially almost emptied the accounts. I had a discussion with the ARK after the last meeting and
rmed them that the pier wasn't moving which was not well received but understood. I thing they are finally getting
wing more money at this issue isn't going to change the fact that I am well within my rights as the land owner to t
sere it stands.
I have been told by Surf City that they are not going to make me resubmit since their permit runs a full year so o
e your renewal in hand, I am resubmitting the complete package again to the HOA (4th one). Hopefully they don
iething else to hang a hat on. If and when this thing finally gets completed,
are cordially invited any time I am down there to stop by and have a beer to celebrate.
The only thing I can see that will hang this up is their request for a water runoff plan . from what I understand Su
s not require a runoff plan on lots over 10,000 sq. feet and the state views wood slatt piers as pervious surfaces
iot require runoff plans. Is this true and if so is there anything I can get from you to present to them when I re sut
firm this ?....just checking. I found a lot of examples on the Internet but could find the actual code explaining it... I
just explain it to them in letter form and let the chips fall where they may. I also need to thank you for all your of
