To protect such sensitive areas, Coastal Resources Commission rules prohibit new dredging in PNA. Operatin s in shallow water depths often results in bottom disturbance due to "prop dredging". der to reduce impacts to important fish habitats, boat slips are generally not allowed in any location where wat hs are zero at low tide in PNA.
