While I appreciate your time trying to help me understand the proposed improvements, I am not going to continue trying to understand the proposed improvements without the proper documentation and one complete file. Having built several homes, I understand the importance of having all drawings and layouts clearly marked to avoid issues with property lines and boundary markers. While I am told that the owner of 624 East Dolphin has provided the proper documentation to give Power of Attorney to others, I have yet to see this document as well as any submitted requests to this point were not signed by the owner or a representative. Wilmington, NC 28405-3845 March 21, 2013 To Whom it May Concern: I am objecting this Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Notification / Waiver Form related to proposed improvement at 624 East Dolphin Drive, Oak Island, NC received on Saturday, March 16, 2013. My objection is based on bullet point "Dimensions of the proposed structure, including distance to the property line and Riparian Access Corridor line" within Section 2 titled Drawings of the proposed pier. Per the attached hand drawn 3-13-2013 revision that was submitted, the structure is not shown on a Property Survey map. I do not know the exact location of the proposed improvement. I can't tell if the proposed improvement encroaches on the property lines and the impact to the Riparian Corridor line. Based on the request to waive the 15'setback requirement, I can only assume the proposed improvement encroaches on property lines which I do not want. The Property Survey map with Revision 3-13-2013 that was submitted is the same Property Survey map as previously submitted. That submission was rejected by NCDENR because of the platform over the vegetation at the end of the walkway. I talked to a NCDENR representative and agent (D. Cronick) regarding the request. I can't get a clear understanding of the exact location of the walkway and dimensions with information provided. My preference is actual structure drawing on a Property Survey map with location and layout as opposed to "somewhere in the center of the property" and "ignore the first drawing, use the second and assume same location". At that time, I can make an informed decision.
