We hope to settle in mid December if all goes well. We have been told that the "spoils area" west of Boyd Avenue is the property of Holden Beach. This area is next to the 231 Lois Avenue property on the west side of the Town's Boyd Avenue. So I guess you own both properties next to our property. We would like to add a floating dock next to the existing dock similar to the 2 docks east of our property, to make easier access for kayaks and small boats. Please see the attached drawing and aerial photos. The North Carolina Division of Coastal Management requires that I notify you of the construction as an "adjacent riparian property owner", for your approval of the proposal. I believe the addition has been designed to meet all requirements defined in the Coastal Area Management Act. If you could, Please review the plan and aerials and call me with any questions or concerns. If you have no objections, Please indicate that you have no objections, sign the form, and return to me in the enclosed envelope. In addition to the floating dock, Kim & I would like to install a small pool for our enjoyment in retirement. I have added that to the plan as well.
