he property at 130 Singleton Street in Snead's Ferry is a newly construction home recently purchasec
y Dr. Ed San Miguel. The property is located on Alligator Creek, a narrow manmade channel which
rovides boating access to the AIWW. Surveys in front of the property indicated sufficient depth to
-commodate a small to moderate size outboard vessel (+/- 25 feet). However, the width of the chanr
not sufficient to allow the construction of a shore parallel dock and mooring of a vessel without
indering navigation to properties further up the channel.
he Applicant proposes to construct an Upland Basin, 26 feet wide x 25 feet long and to a depth of -5.1
AVD88 (approx. -3.0 MLW), in order to have a lift and mooring space for a boat of approximately 20'
!ngth. The applicant proposes to construct a vinyl and wood trim seawall surrounding the basin and
!maining frontage. A 25x5 foot fixed dock shall be constructed on the north side of the basin and a
N12, 15x5 foot "L" shaped deck over high ground shall be constructed on the south side of the basin
he applicant proposes to install a 3,000 boat lift on the southern side of the basin.
he construction of the proposed upland basin will require approximately 260 cubic yards of excavatic
