The plan is to re-establish previously existing wetlands that were destroyed by
previous owner(s). The intent is to use oyster baskets and bags to establish an
oyster sill to parallel the bank from the 404 wetlands point on left of property
(facing the river) to the pier (see attached Chart). These PVC coated 16 gauge wire
gabion boxes are approximately 2'x2'x2' with enough spacing between for water
flow. These boxes will be filled with oyster shells or other appropriate material to
generate oyster and other native wildlife habitat. Once silted in, or fill approved by
CAMA, plants approved by CAMA will be planted to re-establish the coastal wetlands
fauna.

Actually there is some good news. The ARB did approve our dock plan and we have their conditional
approval pending the granting of a CAMA permit.
We are making progress. All we need now is the CAMA permit.
