Mr. Knierim,
I am writing to grant permission to Maritech Dredging to utilize my property located at Lots #1 (Parcel ID
202613124573) and #2 (Parcel ID 202617125485) adjacent to 3461 Holden Beach Rd in Supply. NC to
dispose of approximately 715cy of dredge spoil material derived from the Seaside Marina Project.
Disposal will be limited to the upland portion of the property. Sedimentation and erosion control
measures (silt fencing) will be in place before placement of material on the property.

RE: Permission to use Ferry Road to Transport Dredge Spoil
Please be advised that your request to use Ferry Road as the ingress/egress route
to/from your dredging activities at the boat slips nearby on Holden Beach is hereby
approved for approximately two weeks, beginning next week and ending at the
pro'ect completion. Please advise if you have any change in plans.

If you have objections to what is being proposed, please write the Division of Coastal
Management, 127 Cardinal Drive Extension, Wilmington, NC 28405 or call 910-796-7215
within 10 days of receipt of this notice. No response is considered the same as no objection if
you have been notified by Certified Mail.
WAIVER SECTION
I understand that a pier, dock, mooring pilings, breakwater, boat house or boat lift must be set
back a minimum distance of 15' from my area of riparian access - unless waived by me. (If
you wish to waive the setback, you must initial the appropriate blank below.)
