Division of Coastal Management on June 7th and10th, 2016, regarding your concerns about the proposed development by John Ogden, at property located at 363 Chadwick Shores Drive, in Sneads Ferry, NC. The project consists of the construction of a boatlift, boat house and two finger piers. The project has been determined to comply with the Rules of the Coastal Resources Commission (07H .1200) — General Permit for construction of Piers: Docks: and boat houses in Estuarine and Public Trust Waters,, and as such, a permit has been issued to authorize the development. I have enclosed a copy of the permit, as well as the relevant statutes. If you wish to contest our decision to issue this permit, you may file a request for a Third Party Appeal. The Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission will consider each case and determine whether to grant your request to file for a Contested Case Hearing. The hearing request must be filed with the Director, Division of Coastal Management, in writing and must be received within twenty (20) days of the permit decision. I NOT have anything to do with the owner's agent, Peter Mueller. past Tuesday the builder, Peter Mueller, tried to visit my wife at her workplace location for the third time. My wife': ciates told Mueller that she was on vacation so he came to my front door at 463 Chadwick Shores. My wife answi oor and called for me to come to the door. Without discussion I ordered Mueller off my property. I told him to leave my property and not to come back. He was also I speak to my wife again at her work. The builder left but was clearly mad given his words and finger action. Planed boathouse encroaches on the 15 foot setback from dock area of dock for 403 Chadwick Shores. 2.) Docks at 363 and 403 Chadwick Shores are too near each other for a boathouse. Boathouse will overwhelm general area. 3.) Boathouse will block view of water and shoreline for people trying to enjoy dock, deck, back porch and view within house at 403 Chadwick Shores. 4.) Hand etched design plans provided for boathouse at 363 Chadwick Shores show a boathouse exceeding 400 square feet. 5.) There are no approved architect plans or drawings of planed boathouse. 6.) Builder is expected to try and exceed 400 square feet for boathouse during construction. 7.) Builder is expected to plead for forgiveness to exceeding the 400 square foot restriction and leave in place the too large boathouse by paying fine.
