Do not click Thank you for your quick reply. You got it right! The contractor doesn't seem to know anything about the length. Yes, we will not object to a bulkhead of 60 feet along the river bank or in fact they can meet the side of our bulkhead which will be 65 feet due to a public access between our properties. We do not want the strength of our bulkhead to be compromised due to their construction therefore it will come to a point behind our north corner post of the bulkhead. Thanks for your help. When we write the permit it will be drawn with the appropriate dimensions so the bulkhead does not exceed property boundaries. Based on the shoreline length from aerials and parcel maps the bulkhead will be roughly 60 feet when constructed. Does this mean you do not object to a bulkhead on the adjacent property if the permit designates the appropriate dimensions of what is allowed in the construction of the bulkhead? We cannot understand how you can bulkhead property for 73 linear feet when the deed for the property lists the dimensions as 60 linear feet. We live at 3841 Palmetto Lane SE, Bolivia NC and are next door neighbors to the Hartsell property. If someone could assist the contractor in filling out the proper paperwork we would be happy to agree. He has mailed incomplete forms to us twice now. Thanks for your assistance.
