Hello Brendan -
I'm seeking NCDENR permit to build a pier on my property at 279 Spring Branch Rd., Supply, NC 28462
(parcel no. 2330000305). Since you and Tyler McGuire have both visited my site and determined it
qualifies for a 'general' CAMA permit, I'm hoping the attached material will satisfy requirements for the
permit to be issued. Attached are:
- A drawing showing the dimensions of my lot, the 15' riparian setback lines, and my
proposed pier location, size, and distances from property and setback lines.
- A signed waiver form from one of my immediate neighbors — Charles Clemmons
- A USPS receipt for a letter sent Certified Mail to my other neighbor — Joyce Brown. Two attempts
to deliver have been made (the second one a scheduled USPS drop), but she's not been home to
sign for it. I've asked her by phone if she could pick it up at the Post Office, but she declined due
to disability issues.
The pier I propose building is 370' long (as shown on the attached riparian survey, done by Cape Fear
Surveying) with 4' wide decking, and a 6' wide gazebo with drop -down stairs at the sandbar terminus.
Richardson Construction out of Supply NC will do the pier building.
