violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become

This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local

Crum Works Inc. has been commissioned to complete emergency erosion control with
sandbags at two properties along the Atlantic Ocean, 23292 E Beacon Road, owned by
Ephriam L Altmon and Patricia Richards, and 23298 E Beacon Road, owned by Lumina Harbor
Beach Rental LLC. Both properties are located along the Atlantic Ocean in Rodanthe, Dare
County NC.
Proposed work is as follows. The 5'x15' sandbags are indicated and highlighted on the attached
drawings. Sandbags will extend from the ocean side (front) of the houses out 15'. Maximum
height will be 6', as per CAMA permit regulations. Along the sides of the house, 6' height will be
maintained where stairs allow. Then a 4' height will be built to protect septic tanks as allowed.
The 4'-height bags are indicated with hash marks.
