Hi Tara,
I have been asked to request a Repair Exemption for the Deep Point Marina Marine Maintenance
Maintenance Pier. Attached is a copy of my drawing MP-1 seal date 5-28-09 for the initial construction.
As the pier is appx 10 years old and has just gone through one more hurricane (Dorian), we have noticed
that some of the cross timbers are in poor shape. As of yet it is not in Bill Mack's budget, so we at
minimum will replace any rotted or damaged structure. And as you know, once you go to replace one
item, you find another or several more. Please write us a repair exemption for the entire pier structure
and dolphins, including the six added stair bump -outs that allow vessel access at various tide levels.
