So here are my thoughts on this project: we measured 18" of water 17' waterward of the end of marsh on the eastern
and central part of the property. On the western side, it was around 25' to achieve 18". From my measurements online
the waterway is about 100-104' across meaning that the % width is —25' from the end of the marsh. I would be willing to
sign off on the project IF 1) they locate the floating structure and lift as far to the east as possible 2)provide drawings of
substantial stops at 18" that the GP can reference (lag bolting a sufficient size of lumber to the pilings to ensure that it
will function for the life of the structure) and 3) reduce the width of the platform to 6' wide; with that precaution, the
float will have >18" of depth at NLW under the most shallow part of the floating structure. Everyone is happy.
