PROJECT NARRATIVE
May 9, 2019
This permit request is for erecting a breakwater (Wilkinson breakwater)
at 101 Bland Alley, Surf City, NC 28445.
The Wilkinson breakwater would connect with a proposed and already
permitted breakwater on the lot to the north of my 50 foot lot with the
existing breakwater on the lot on the south side of my lot. The
Wilkinson breakwater would be 50 feet wide and protrude
approximately 24 inches above the sand and 36 inches beneath the
sand. It will be constructed of vinyl panels.
