Tyler, that is correct. We will only be repairing the culvert on the south side of the road and hopefully it will be a small
section or joint repair. We may not need to uncover the outlet at the end of the pipe. Even if we can repair in this
manner, it still might be beneficial to stabilize this area with riprap. We can confirm Monday. Thanks, John

John,
Thank you for that information. If we are not replacing the entire culvert and repairing less than 50% of the pipe then
that would not require a CAMA General Permit for the culvert. It was my understanding that we were replacing the
entire culvert, but if this is not the case then we could treat this as maintenance and repair. So if we are only adding
1
new riprap around the new culvert outfall that will be repaired, then we will only need $200 for the CAMA General
Permit to cover the new riprap.
Let me know if this is the case and I will see you Monday morning with the authorization to cover the work.

Hi Tyler, the pipe diameter is 18 inches and is approximately a total length of 60 feet. I hope that the length of damaged
