CAMA permit requirements. This exemption to CAMA
permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local
authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit
is valid for 120 days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may
be necessary to continue this certification.

I have attached our Adjacent Property Owner Notification Policy to this email for notifications where no signed
statements of no objection have been obtained. This policy doesn't refer to applications that require a waived riparian
setback notification.
I have also attached the rules ("meat & taters") from 07H for development within our Areas of Environmental Concern
(AECs). Go to pages 10 & 11 for Piers & Docking Facilities, specifically page 11 Letter I :
"The minimum setback provided in the rule may be waived by the written agreement of the adjacent riparian owner(s)
or when two adjoining riparian owners are co -applicants."
Let me know if I can be of further assistance or help explaining any of these rules to the applicant or the adjacent
property owners. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused with this process of the application.

Hey Will,
With this docking facility proposed within 15 feet from 116 Starfish Drive, this application will require a waived riparian
setback notification from that adjacent riparian property owner in order to replace that structure. Without a waived
notification I cannot permit anything within 15' of that property's riparian corridor. If a waived notification cannot be
obtained, then the property owner may apply for an Exemption to repair only half of that structure this year, then apply
for a second Exemption next year to repair the other half.
Let me know how the property owner would like to proceed.
